I only wish Stephen King wouldn't include so many horror novels on his book lists, as he does have some decent taste in good old, regular literature (I was glad to see American Pastoral on the list, as it's a fantastic book, and have been trying to get a copy of McCarthy's The Road - though I'm not sure if this is the list you were referring to, as I saw it online). Then again, power to the guy for bringing a sub-genre like horror into the mainstream, if that's what he likes.
